# Refund Request Management

The Refund Request Management section covers the lifecycle of refund events within NeoX Global Collections. When a merchant initiates a refund against an incoming collection order, NeoX processes the reversal asynchronously and delivers status updates — including intermediate processing states and the final outcome — via webhook notifications. Merchants can use these events to keep their internal systems synchronized with the true state of each refund, from initiation through to confirmed success or failure.
