# File APIs

**File APIs** provide a secure mechanism for uploading supporting documents to the platform and downloading generated financial files such as statements, receipts, and declaration forms.

By integrating with these APIs, organizations can:

* **Upload compliance and transaction documents:** Submit KYC files, trade contracts, logistics records, payee proof, and customs receipts as reusable file references that can be attached to onboarding, payout, collection, and trade-order workflows.
* **Download financial reports and receipts:** Retrieve daily account statements, balance reports, overseas payment receipts, withdrawal receipts, and customs declaration forms directly through the API for automated reconciliation and record-keeping.

In essence, **File APIs** empower you to manage the full document lifecycle within the Global Collections platform — from submitting the files that support compliance reviews and payment instructions, to retrieving the records that confirm completed transactions.
